In this segment with Fox 2, I discuss the backlash of the hot diet trend right now, intermittent fasting. Intermittent fasting is when you only eat during a set time frame. This rigidity and rules with timing, often leads you to be disconnected from your hunger cues because of the window of time that you are allowed to eat in. When you go to eat, you can often find yourself in a primal hunger place where you can be binging or feeling very out of control with eating. This is not a matter of a lack of willpower, but your body actually protecting you.
I discuss some of the reasons people choose to intermittent fast. And I share what I feel is the most sustainable way of eating. Can you guess what my answer is?:)
